 10th and 12th board examination schedules evident.


The CBSE board has released the date sheet for the 12th exam.  This examination was postponed due to corona.  The 12th examinations will be between July 1 and July 15.  With this, CBSE 10th exam will be held in North-East Delhi from July 1 to July 15.  Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has shared the date sheet.

 Explain that due to the lockdown, the CBSE board had stopped the examinations released in March itself.  After this, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi had announced during the second lockdown that the Tenth Board examinations would not be held.  But out of the remaining examinations of the 12th board, examinations of 29 main subjects will be held.


 These main subjects are the subjects through which admission is ensured at the undergraduate level in the university.  Many universities take admission on merit basis where the numbers of these subjects are compulsory.  See the date sheet here

 Let us tell you, CBSE had already told that there will be no 10th examination anywhere in the country.  Missed examination will be conducted only for the students of North East Delhi.


 Don't be confused, CBSE clarifies, there will be 29 main exams of 10th-12th


 On the other hand, CBSE has started evaluating the answer books for those examinations which have already been conducted.  This process may take 50 days to complete.  Dr. Nishank had said that the examination of 29 subjects is yet to be done, but of the 173 subjects which had been tested, there are more than 1.5 crore answer books.  Whose approval has been received from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

 CBSE has identified 3000 schools as assessment centers.  Now these answer books are being sent to the teachers' homes from 3000 evaluation centers.  After which the teachers are starting the process of evaluation.

 What is being taken care of during evaluation?


 Due to the outbreak of Corona virus, the CBSE board is now preparing a set of rules and guidelines for the upcoming board exams.  For the safety of students and teachers, special attention is being given to social distancing.  Strict rules will be adopted during the exam.  Examination centers will be prepared with all necessary kits for students and teachers.
