In the current situation of Covid-19, in the interest of the students, the state government has decided to reduce the standard 9 to 12 syllabus for the academic year 2020-21 in all the schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education by 30%. Pursuant to which the details of the revised syllabus of Std. 9 to 12 for the academic year 2020-21 have been sent to you for information and implementation.

Whether the above revised syllabus details will be applicable to private, repeater, separate students? That is what is being questioned here. According to which, as per the approval received by the Government on the single file here, in the current situation of Kovid 19, in the interest of the students, for the academic year 2020-21, Std-9 to 12 No. The revised syllabus details will also apply to private, repeater, separate students.

In order to reduce the stress of students for the academic year 2020-21 in the prevailing situation of Covid-19, a decision has been taken by the Government to change the examination system of Std. The details of which are as follows.

For the academic year 2020-21, in standard-9, 10, 11 (science stream / general stream), 12 (general stream) the proportion of objective questions in the examination question paper is 30% and the proportion of descriptive promos is 70%. Previously the proportion of objective questions was up to 20%. The standard of 50% objective questions (OMR method) and 50% descriptive promos will remain the same in Std-12 Science).
