Preparations have started to reopen schools and colleges in Gujarat which were closed since March due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. State Chief Minister Vijay Rupani issued instructions to the education department to prepare for reopening of 9th and 12th schools and colleges. After this, Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama has held a meeting with the education department officials.

Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama on Thursday said that schools and colleges will be opened in the state soon keeping in view the proper standard operating procedure. Chudasama said, "After Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani issued instructions to the Education Department to prepare for reopening of 9th and 12th schools and colleges, today (Thursday) I had a meeting with the top officials of the department. I have instructed the authorities to prepare an SOP for continuing education. " He said, "Similarly, we will discuss with the Chancellors (VCs) of the universities within a day or two and work on ways to continue education in the colleges.
The Education Minister also said that education can be continued in colleges, as the students studying in them are so intelligent that they will follow the guidelines of Kovid-19. He said, "As soon as the SOP is ready, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel, me and the education department will decide when and how to start education in schools and colleges during this epidemic.

The state education minister said, "A month ago, I announced that we will conduct board exams for class X and XII in May 2021. So students will have enough time to fill up the forms for these exams. Are working in coordination with the authorities, so that every precaution can be taken about the epidemic.
