ðŸ”ĨCorona is spreading among children: CERO survey found antibodies to corona virus in 50% of children in Mumbai, most children between the ages of 10 and 14

Amidst the third danger, a very shocking information is coming from Mumbai.  Antibodies have been found in about 50% of children here.  This is revealed in BMC's fourth CIRO survey report.  According to the report, children who have been exposed to antibodies have occasionally contracted coronary heart disease.  According to experts, this is also a matter of relief.  The risk of corona infection in these children during the third wave is reduced due to the formation of antibodies.  According to the survey, 53.43% of children between the ages of 10 and 14 have been infected.

Samples were taken from 2,176 children in 24 wards

The 4th Sero Survey was conducted in Mumbai between 1 April 2021 and 15 June 2021 by BYL Nair Hospital and Kasturba Molecular Diagnostics on the orders of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).  A total of 2,176 children under the age of 18 were included in the survey.

The survey, conducted in a total of 24 wards in Mumbai, found that children had higher levels of antibodies than before.  Samples for the survey were divided into 1-4, 5-9, 10-14 and 15 to 18 age groups.  The survey found that 53.43% of children between the ages of 10 and 14 felt the most infected.  According to the report, the CERO survey found a total positivity rate of 51.18%.

According to BMC, out of 2,176 samples, 1,283 were collected by Nair Hospital's Apli Medical Network and 893 by Kasturba Molecular Diagnostics.
