New Delhi: A 13-member committee of the CBSE board to prepare the 12th standard marksheet has submitted its report to the Supreme Court.  The CBSE said that the pre-board results of 10th, 11th and 12th standard will be based on the final result of 12th standard.  The attorney general from the central government in the Supreme Court said the CBSE results would come on July 31.

The CBSE said that the best marks will be taken in 3 out of 5 subjects in 10th standard, thus average of 5 subjects in 11th standard will be taken and pre-board examination and practical number of 12th standard will be taken.  The result will be declared on the basis of 30% of 10th standard, 30% of 11th standard and 40% of 12th standard.

In the Supreme Court, the CBSE said that the results committee has decided on the weightage based on the credibility of the examination. The policy of the schools is to give more marks in the pre-board.  To ensure that the school's grades are not exaggerated, the committee will evaluate the student's performance over the past three years.

Importantly, on June 4, the CBSE formed a 13-member committee to decide the assessment policy.  The committee was given ten days to prepare the report.  There is talk of some sort of assessment of the result, one of which is that the board can prepare the result based on the final marks in 10 and the internal assessment in 12.  Apart from this, the government had earlier decided that if a student is not happy with his result, he can apply for correction of marks if the general condition deteriorated due to corona.
