In which standard 10 students of Gujarat Secondary Education Board will be given 2 options for mathematics subject examination. Which will have standard math and basic math.

The textbook of mathematics subject in standard 10 will remain the same and there will be no change even in the examination taken at school level, although 2 options will be given in the board examination. Students will be given the option to choose Standard Mathematics and Basic Mathematics while filling up the standard 10 board examination forms. In both the types of examinations, there will be a mark load after the chapter, a mark load according to the type of questions and a mark load according to the objectives.
A student who passes in standard mathematics will be able to go into general-science stream
Students who choose standard mathematics in standard 10 will be able to go to general stream and science stream in standard 11. But students who choose basic maths will only be able to gain admission to the general stream. If a student who has passed Basic Mathematics in Std. 10 wants to go for Science stream, he / she will have to pass the Standard Mathematics examination during the supplementary examination in the month of July. Students who fail in standard mathematics will be able to appear in the supplementary examination again subject to the rules of supplementary examination by giving the option of standard mathematics standard or basic mathematics Students will have to get the written consent of the parents about the option they have chosen.
