Gandhinagar: The state government has taken a big decision to reduce the transmission of corona in Gujarat. Education Minister Jitu Waghan has informed about this by tweeting. He said that after consultations with Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and discussions in the core group, the cases of Corona were declining in the state so that there would be no difficulty in the study of students. As per SOP (Corona's guideline) older than 3/4/6, online-offline education work of Std. 1 to 8 will be started with the consent of parents.

It is to be noted that after the entry of Omicron in Gujarat, due to increasing cases of Corona, schools of Std. 1 to 9 were closed. However, once again the central government has asked the states to decide for themselves on the issue of opening schools as the transition to Koro has slowed down. Then today the Gujarat government has announced to start schools again. It has now been announced that schools will resume on Monday with Corona's guidelines. The Education Minister has given this information by tweeting. Schools will also need the consent of parents for offline education of students.

There has been a general decline in corona cases in Gujarat. Today, 6097 new cases of Corona virus have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of active cases of Corona in the state has reached 57521. There are 248 people on ventilators in the state. 57273 people are stable. So far 1123499 people in the state have beaten Corona. Corona infections have killed 10,614 people in the state so far. The transition has killed 35 people in the state today.
