World Test Championship 2022 Points Table platoon India leaves Pakistan before, Sri Lanka climb up
The conclusion of the Test series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan led to a significant change in the World Test Crowns points table.
In the two- match Test series, Pakistan won the first match and took the third spot in the table, boosting their chances of appearing in coming time's World Test Championship final, while Sri Lanka fell to the sixth position.
But in the alternate and final Test, Sri Lanka's palm turned the tables around. Sri Lanka climbed to the third spot with a palm chance of53.33.
On the other hand, Team India which was at number four maintained the same position. still, it surpassed Pakistan as the Babar Azam- led platoon dropped down to the fifth spot. While India's palm chance is52.08, Pakistan's palm chance is51.85.
South Africa continue to rule the table with a palm chance of71.43. Australia stands in the alternate spot with 70. The palm chance of West Indies is 50 and the platoon has now come down to number six.
The England platoon is at number seven with a33.33 palm chance. The brigades of New Zealand and Bangladesh are at number eight and ninth, independently.
Going further, India's position on the board will be dependent on the performances of the other brigades.
India's position in the ODI rankings after India vs West Indies series win
India maintained their third position in the rearmost men's ODI Team Rankings following the clean reach palm against the West Indies in the three- match ODI series.
After India's third successive ODI series win, their standing boosted to a aggregate of 110 and some four standing points clear ofarch-rival Pakistan( 106), who's in the fourth place.
